My Lady's House
After bringing out a self released EP, well received by specialised media on web and paper (Magic, Indiepoprock, Popnews, Sensation Rock), My Lady’s House is now here to present their first studio album.
Their folksongs are quite intimate and laced with vocal harmonies
which come straight out of the 70's. Backed up by a efficient rhythm
section on stage, instruments like lapsteel, glockenspiel, banjo
and harmonica refer to the melancholic atmosphere of the American
planes. In the most pure tradition of Anglo Saxon folk singers like
Neil Young, Fionn Regan, and Damien Jurado, My Lady’s House
delivers their music without compromising. Inspired lyrics and fine
melodies make My Lady's House to maybe one of the most promising
new folk acts in France these days.
